We have been growing Blueberries at the farm since 1994. Each summer (usually during the month of July) we begin the process of harvesting. The original 40 bushes we grow at DeMeritt Hill Farm were transplants from a nearby farm and were planted in 1998. In 2011, additional blueberry bushes were planted to help fill the need for quality fruit. We sell both PYO and pre-picked blueberries at the store when in season.

Types we grow here
Highbush
These species are the most commonly cultivated forms of blueberries and the type we see most often in the grocery store. Included here are northern and southern highbush, which can grow as high as 12 feet in height in their native (uncultivated) state but when cultivated usually stay within a range of 4-7 feet.
DeMeritt Hill Farm is a member of the New Hampshire Fruit Growers Association.
